List of Women Brewers

Voting Members: Any professional woman brewer, cellarwoman, or lab tech, past or present, from any brewery of any size, anywhere in the world. This includes working in wort production, fermentation, filtration, quality control or sensory evaluation. If you qualify you are automatically a voting member of the PBS. Once a voting member always a voting member.

Non-Voting Members: Any woman anywhere in the world who derives at least part of her income and livelyhood from beer, who is not already a voting member as described above. This includes women packagers and packaging managers, women brewery accountants, women brewery suppliers, women brewery owners, women beer writers, etc.

Meeting: Our first meeting was held on Saturday April 19th in San Diego during the 2008 Craft Brewers Conference. It was awesome to connect with other women brewers and beer writers and get to know each other better. 16 voting members were present and 6 beer writers. The above membership rules were voted in. The next meeting will be held during the Great American Beer Festival, probably on Friday, October 10, 2008, in Denver, Colorado.
